Job Summary:<\/strong>
We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Home Health Aide (HHA) to join our private duty and nursing care team. In this role, you will provide personalized, non-medical care to our clients in their homes, supporting their daily living activities and promoting their overall well-being. The ideal candidate is empathetic, attentive, and committed to delivering high-quality care.<\/p>

Key Responsibilities:<\/strong>
1. Personal Care:
\u2013 Assist clients with personal hygiene, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
\u2013 Support clients with mobility and transfers, ensuring safe handling techniques.
\u2013 Help with feeding and monitor dietary needs.<\/p>

\u00a0<\/p>

2. Household Assistance:
\u2013 Prepare and serve nutritious meals according to dietary requirements.
\u2013 Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry, tidying the living area, and making beds.
\u2013 Assist with grocery shopping and running errands as needed.<\/p>

\u00a0<\/p>

3. Companionship and Emotional Support:
\u2013 Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities that promote mental and emotional well-being.
\u2013 Offer emotional support and encourage positive social interactions.<\/p>

\u00a0<\/p>

4. Health Monitoring and Reporting:
\u2013 Monitor and record clients\u2019 vital signs and health changes, reporting any concerns to the supervising nurse.
\u2013 Document care provided and maintain accurate client records.<\/p>

5. Compliance and Safety:
\u2013 Follow all safety and infection control protocols.
\u2013 Maintain client confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations.
\u2013 Participate in quality improvement initiatives and training.<\/p>

Qualifications:<\/strong>
\u2013 Current Home Health Aide (HHA) certification in Michigan.
\u2013 High school diploma or equivalent.
\u2013 Minimum of 1 year of experience in home health or a similar setting.
\u2013 Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
\u2013 Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
